Project description
The Nitis wind farm comprises 10 Enercon E-92 wind turbines, each with a nominal power of 2.35 MW. It is situated in Annelles and Ménil-Annelles in the Ardennes region of northern France.
In the lead-up to the construction of the wind plant, we partnered with Symbiose, an association dedicated to promoting biodiversity, to implement environmental mitigating measures that take into account local specificities and contribute to the preservation of the region's resources.
Throughout the project, we also worked alongside residents of Annelles and Menil-Annelles, the two villages surrounding Le Nitis, who expressed their interest in a financial participation. In line with its commitment to share value with parties involved, we raised €200,000 via crowdfunding. Within a day, almost 100 lenders had contributed over €60,000.
We developed, constructed, and operated the wind farm until its sale in 2019.

We make it a priority to collaborate with local partners for each project, and the 'Le Nitis' wind farm was no exception. To mark the inauguration of the wind farm, we partnered with a local vineyard to produce a special 'Le Nitis' Champagne cuvée and 'Le Nitis' apple juice for the occasion.
