Description du projet
Renner Energies is developing an agrivoltaic project in the commune of Saint-Gemme-Martaillac, in the Lot-et-Garonne department in France. The project is located around 1.5 km north-west of the town centre, near a place called Pichouret.
Covering an area of around 6.8 hectares, the project is being carried out in collaboration with a local Agricultural Land Group - Groupement Foncier Agricole (GFA). It combines agricultural production with the generation of solar energy using solar panels with trackers. This innovative installation will generate electricity while respecting the needs of local crops, in particular cereals and strawberries, which will continue to be grown on site.
