The agrivoltaic project 'Le Breuil' on the commune of Villentrois-Faverolles-en-Berry, involves installing solar panels over cereal crops, in partnership with a local farmer. Located on farmland where yields have been declining due to drought, the project aims to support more sustainable agriculture.

The installation of agrivoltaic panels addresses these challenges while contributing to the local energy transition. Renner Energies is co-developing the project with the farmers to ensure it fits his farming practices.

A wide row spacing allows crops to develop properly, complying with the maximum coverage rate of 40% and the threshold of 10% loss of usable agricultural area (UAA).
